I don't claim to be an expert on any type of food. That said, this place just doesn't blow my skirt up. I've been there several times with foodies and friends alike ... can't say anyone in one of these groups has ever gotten giddy for the grub.

As for the "Mr. Happy" comment, they guy feed me a bunch of bs. Half the things he mentioned were flat out not true. That's an unfortunate disservice to those who are not well informed.

Meanwhile, running a successful restaurant is hard to do. However, that doesn't mean that simply because a restaurant exists ... that it's good.

Bottom line: the food here isn't very good.

It seems that everyone in Atlanta is the expert on Mexican food but there doesn't seem to be a single Mexican Restaurant in town that foodie’s likes. I love that whenever anyone on Foodie gives a compliment they always follow it up with “well how hard is it to get that right anyway”. Have any of you experts ever actually worked in a real restaurant kitchen. Just so you know it is not like when you make your own little "wonderful" dishes at home. The big difference is you actually have to make 25different things for 50 different tables at the same time. Cooking onions and peppers to order at home is not really a challenge. Cooking them when every piece of cooking equipment is covered in food and you are trying to perfectly time all of these things simultaneously…. Very challenging!!! So when you "foodie's” review restaurants please remember that most people in this world could never multitask like most restaurateurs and trained line cooks. And for the comment about Mr. Happy. Why do you want to give this guy crap because he was friendly outgoing and full of knowledge. Just goes to show you what these Food groups are about...arrogant, selfish, can’t make you happy, stuck up jerks....
