When last we stopped in at City Limit Cafe, the place was still getting painted. Now we hear that the opening date has been set; and, it is just around the corner. On May 1st, the cursed Grant Park location will have another run. It’ll be interesting to see if another wing & burger joint in the area can survive. In the meantime, I’ve added it to the May Dirty List (a Google map of upcoming Atlanta restaurants).

One day last week, my buddy and I walked from his house in Grant Park over to downtown. Our route took us past the old Lamplighter Cafe … low and behold, I saw some work being done on the place. As this totally awesome cell phone photo will show, the name of the new joint is the City Limit Cafe.
I have no idea who is behind it or why they decided to name it the City Limit Cafe (seeing as it is nowhere near our city limits). To be honest, I totally forgot about it until Cliff said something … so that’s what prompted this post.
