So the folks at Glover Family Farm in Douglasville are hosting a slow food brunch on March 22, 2009. At $35/person, this sounds like a pretty good deal. Full details after the jump!
This should be pretty fun!
Slow Food Brunch & Leader’s Meeting
The event will include a presentation from guest speakers Dan Imhoff and Tom Stearns. Imhoff is the author of Food Fight: The Citizen’s Guide to a Food and Farm Bill and Stearns is the president of the Center for an Agricultural Economy. In addition, farmer Joe Reynolds will provide a tour.
Breakfast will be served. On the menu you will find: eggs from Carlton Farms, Love is Love greens and Riverview sausage, among many other local treats. Mimosas will be flowing and the biscuits will be good, for sure.
